Location: Solomon Islands are a group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Papua New Guinea.

Country Economy: The economy of Solomon Islands is that of a lesser developed nation dependent on foreign aid. Over 75% of its labour force is engaged in subsistence farming and fishing.

City: Honiara is the capital of the Solomon Islands.

City Economy: Honiara industry consists of several beverage factories and a cookie factory. Major exports are timber, coconuts, copra and fish. Honiara International Airport is located about 10 kilometers outside the city.
