UK Expatriate News: Why snubbed students are heading for the sun

As the tuition fee row escalates and disgruntled universities rage about underfunding and restrictions on student intake, it’s hardly surprising that many school leavers are turning their backs on Britain……Enter the white knights of Europe, otherwise known as those universities offering degree courses that are taught in English. Many of these institutions have significant government funding and superb facilities and here’s the good bit, the fees are miniscule compared with the UK and some even offer foreign students grants and allowances.
