If you were to be sent to Bissau in Guinea-Bissau on an expatriate assignment or if you were to relocate there, you are likely to experience weather that is Tropical between June and November, this season has monsoonal type rainy weather and is generally hot and humid with south-westerly winds; while the dry season is between December and May with north-easterly winds. People speak Portuguese, Creole, and African languages.

The cost of clothing and housing is low compared to other places, while the cost of food and beverages, as well as transport is high compared to other places. Bissau is the capital city of Guinea-Bissau.  It is the country's largest city, major port, educational, administrative and military centre. Peanuts, hardwoods, copra, palm oil, and rubber are the chief products.
